Hello, #BeYOUtiful! As the outer world becomes silent or more silent than normal, we start to analyse our life and what surrounds us more deeply while listening to our most unpolished – or pure – feelings, true needs and recognizing what is worth.

When the night falls down
I wait for you and you come around
And the world’s alive with the sound
Of kids on the street outside

Belinda Carlisle – Heaven Is A Place On Earth 1988

How many of us are waiting for that moment of what we wish “walk into the room”?! I believe, many! In that state of mind, all that is left for us is waiting…waiting for the perfect time, for the perfect job, lover, life & so on. Also, many of us are waiting to go outside again, while postpone life…just in the same way that we used to postpone our desires and little pleasures when we were submerged by work, material matters and not knowing “what that’s worth”.

Since I enrolled in a medical doctor degree, rare were the moments when I could spend time reading my Vogue Magazine. Many times I bought it, but never got the time to read it. Now at home, during this quarantine “we’re just beginning to understand the miracle of living”. Then, I realised those little big things, as reading my Vogue Magazine, are needed in a balanced life. It is part of who we are as a person and as a human being & it represents even a moment of gratitude, which will recharge us for new challenges in the earth. As so, this time, I went through the Vogue Italia app – as we don’t have the secure option to buy the physical magazine (could you imagine that it would happen?!)

Now, I am reading their March and April 2020 edition – as you have noticed through my Instagram – and on the March edition, I found the beautiful text of Federico Chiara – “A Vogue’s Tale”. In there, I found all my many quasi moments of dismissing my own needs and my all negations that are nothing more than an escape from reality…my lies to myself. As soon as I found that, I realised that many as me might have been “hiding” their own needs to live the frenetic days that we used to live before COVID19 days.

I have been willing to share with you my feelings, since last march, in the hope to find a resonance with some of you. Not just because it might give us a perception of a group – a basic human need that we must value and respect – but also because of it, you might realise that being at home or at least live more conscientiously is what we need from now on – and that it might be my alter-ego writing.

Let’s live behind the quasi moments and “make heaven a place on earth” while being present in the moment & light up our souls while matching our inner colours to the colours of our life, whatever through our actions, our clothes, our house, our groups, friends & family.

Stay in the moment, keep grateful and embrace the new reality!

Namasté & don’t forget – “Ooh, heaven is a place on earth”.
