Portugal Fashion FW 21 Day 2 with Miguel Vieira
The collection “is about people who have confidence in their appearance and see their clothing as an extension of themselves, as something that is part of their DNA”, says the designer Miguel Vieira. Besides these inspiring words, in his interview with Hugo van der Ding, I was disappointed as he pointed that they create clothes only with the final purpose to dress people & to see people wearing their clothes. I can understand his point of view as I know from where he came from (he has a very technical background and expertise). However, nowadays many scientific studies show that clothing & fashion are much more than that. Furthermore, if we all look closely at how people talk about their clothes, they always talk about how they felt with the cloth – and the subject doesn’t end there. So, I was sad to see a person who I admired have a different vision than mine, but I respect & understand. The most important thing is that we all can share our thoughts constructively and positively.
I hope you liked it & Keep #BeYOUtiful. PS: don’t forget to like & subscribe my YouTube channel.

After this moment, dawn is born and a new day begins again. Everything germinates in spirituality, irony, despair and hope”, explains the Portuguese-Venezuelan creator based in Porto. Katty Xiomara adds that, in this collection,…

Hello #BeYOUtiful! Last Saturday, I went to Portugal Fashion Week where was shown what you need to know about the spring-summer season of 2020! Now, I am sharing with you all – the new fashion concepts and the new ways of exploring a fashion week! I am talking about the new project of Susana Bettencourt – which lead to the development of a limited edition collection in collaboration with the actress Ana Guiomar, that is called “Saving Lives Changing Lives” – the costumizable Portuguese Jewellery of Torcato Santos to wear in the most unexpected ways, the cultural socks of Sir Tile & the progressive sustainable fashion character of Portugal Fashion. The plus? All of that was perfect while sharing it with reencounter of old friends (the blogger Batom Crespo, the psychologist Lucia Pereira, the fashion producer André Dantas & the model & communication expert Tamaris Gomes) & genuine smiles. I would say a lot more, but for now, it is all! Love, Luís de Oliveira #dOliveiraFashionDoctor
PS: thanks to the designer André Santos for dress me with his handmade Kimono from his SS20 collection.

Hello #BeYOUtiful 🙂 I am not aware if you know, but this month is very special! Not only because of my birthday – hehe – but also because #FashionRevolutionWeek happens on April – 22nd to 28th. The Fashion Revolution Week is a movement that intends not only to bring more transparency to the fashion industry but also makes it more sustainable. So, our first April video could not be better! I hope you enjoy this fantastic conversation with #SusanaBettencourt behind the scenes of #PortugalFashionWeek that happened last March. See and get to know the contribution of Susana Bettencourt to a better planet while stylish. Well, disregard those who think that sustainability & style cannot coexist in the same space, right Susana?!
PS: When you find yourself thinking about why to buy sustainable fashion, ask yourself: “What I am doing & Why I am doing”. In that context, never forget to leave someone life better because of your actions. Enjoy the Fashion Revolution Movement!
