DICHOTOMIES ARE PRESENT IN – almost – EVERYDAY OF OUR LIVES & WHEN IT COMES TO #FASHION THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. MEET THE DICHOTOMY THAT MY STYLE – from #DAVIDCATALÁN at #PORTUGALFASHIONWEEKfw19 – REPRESENTS!

Dichotomies can define our life as it forces us – sometimes – to choose between paths. But for the creative minds, there is always an escape room, where both options can coexist – I am not just talking about my love for fashion & medicine – & that was the choice of Portugal Fashion on its last edition while providing both traditional fashion shows & as well as fashion performances full of concept.
When it comes to my style for the last day Portugal Fashion Week FW1920, I opted for the dichotomy of the fashion designer David Catalán – earth & space – not just because I love the work & high-quality clothing of the fashion designer, but also to acknowledge this important and interesting dichotomy. Nowadays, we are living for the ‘outside world’, not just represented by the space exploration projects, but also by social media over exposition, which can lead to distortion of reality and sometimes leading people to depression or even developing other health issues related with the body image. However, I believe we are learning how to balance these two worlds – inner & social – while acknowledging the existence of both & that was the purpose of my look!
If the colours palette – grey plus details with blue metallic – of my comfortable fresh pants & stylish bomber jacket from David Catalán toast the human desires & evolution, I added to the ‘speech’ the other half of a Human being – the feelings of kindness. How? I complemented it with the statement “H U M A N K I N D” on my white t-shirt from the eco-friendly and positive brand HopeSow. By doing this, I totally felt vibrating on my heart the statement of David Catalán brand:

“Be fun, be reckless take chances every day”

I did take mine & YOU?
