While I wrote this letter, I was sitting inside a coffee shop – you know, I am a coffee lover – planning February and thinking about how quickly January came & passed by! This month was marked by amazing fashion weeks, including the couture fashion week, where we could recognise a new kind of fashion being born. Besides fashion weeks, January was a month that was very much dedicated to my master’s thesis of my medical degree. That explains my absence during this month here at d’Oliveira fashion, but for sure, it will contribute, personally, to my fashion and medical growth. And so, that will be reflected in the subjects that I will further develop in OUR blog. If I thought that fashion could be related to medicine in interesting psychological ways, now, I am sure that it is interconnected with medicine in much more fascinating ways! Fashion influences our daily lives, appearance, confidence, eating habits & other health issues in profound ways, especially for adolescents and young adults. But, in every process, there is needed a certain amount of time to grow & flourish. Therefore, this year, we will be taking time to make this area of fashion grow – fashion x medicine – and focus, also, on my medical degree. But, keep in mind, you will keep having great content here. After this growth period, where I will be developing the strong foundations of “fashion x medicine”, you will see that it was worth it.
Well, do not forget to have a BeYOUtiful 2022 & enrich your days with love and positive actions.
