Founder’s
Letter

(…) “They tell me that I’m crazy/But I’ll never let ’em change me/’Til they cover me in daisies/Daisies, daisies/When did we all stop believing in magic?/Why did we put all our hopes in a box in the attic?” (…)

Dear #BeYOUtiful,

As human beings, we are social constructions of our biological responses, senses, emotions and feelings. As such, it is often in life challenging moments that we focus on what makes sense in our lives.

In a daily basis, the race for the fulfilment or the exhaustive execution of our social, professional and personal roles, we disconnect from our essence. Let’s see the following: what do you answer when asked who you are? For many, this answer lies in the functionalism of life – “I am Luís, a medical student” or “I am Clara, the Director XYZ”. But in reality, does this answer the question – Who are you? So, this October we are going to cultivate reflection on our true essence so that our own life flows by itself. We will seek to respect and renew every second the commitment we have with ourselves while letting the magic happen. Because, as the lyrics of Katy Perry say – (…) When did we all stop believing in magic?/Why did we put all our hopes in a box in the attic? (…)

Of course, this month, the magic is going to be awakened with the power of colours!

The radiant autumn orange allows self-confidence and creative self-expression. Classic blue is evocative of a positive view on most of the things around us. The red tones provide Optimistic energy. Last but not least, brick tones add serenity. Also, let’s not forget the core hues of this season. I highlight Sleet – a timeless, reliable, solid and timeless grey, as well as the colour of almond oil to soften our days.

In this BeYOUtiful context, we will also explore the mind & how it measures risk. An interesting subject as COVID-19 infection is rising in Portugal, and many other countries.

Well, Keep positive & with your heart open find inside yourself your daisies – keep #BeYOUtiful!

Compromisso
