Founder’s Letter
Dear #BeYOUtiful,
For me, feeling beauty & spread beauty goes behind its physical or material aspect. Whether it is clothes, accessories, home decoration or, actually, sensations, feelings and emotions, for me the beautiful motto must be there. It is not by luck that our blog motto is “The Art of #BeYOUtiful”, remember?! The sensations and emotions of #BeYOUtiful match my personal cause of celebration love, sophistication, warmth, nurturing and gentle moments of tranquillity. I love the be cheerful, to be & develop myself in charming ways, and my style speaks that honesty. In that way, there is one colour that is associated with all of these feelings. It is called Pink, and so, this month the colour is Pink translated in 10 different ways while working with hue, value & chroma to better represent these sensations, emotions and feelings that I love to celebrate. Besides that, May is the month of Heart as stated by the Portuguese Foundation of Cardiology. Also, it is the National High Blood Pressure Education Month with the CDC and the NHLBI and Mental Health Awareness Month with Mental Health America. As you can see, we have many reasons for Pink being the BeYOUtiful colour to celebrate during this period.
