I add that Fashion is also what we have inside of us.
Dino Alves, SS19 Collection – Lisboa Fashion Week
As soon as I saw this statement during the #fashionshow of Dino Alves, I knew…I was in trouble! Have YOU Heard?

Well my #BeYOUtiful, this is so true! I saw myself looking at that quote as if I was reflected on it. Since then, I started to wonder what I add to fashion & what many others add to fashion, how fashion translates our inner true-self into this physical world or even how the art of clothing touches our life! As so, I couldn’t leave my thoughts hidden in a dark corner…I didn’t want to feel the same feeling as Ally felt on the movie of A Star is Born when she sang “I would’ve said what I wanted to/ maybe even cried for you”. Then, the stars aligned when I found that I had to do a reflexive work for my class of Mental Health of my Medical Degree & so, the Judge ME project was born!
“Judge Me” is a reflexive work in the interface of Medicine & Fashion, while having the aim to explore the concepts of self-representation, self-fashioning & mood enhancement dress as Mental Health & Disease Determinants. These concepts were fitted into the following aims of the curricular unit: understand the concept of Mental Health & Disease Determinants; know the risk factors & protective factors related with Mental Disease during the life cycle; understand the promotion, prevention & rehabilitation in Mental Health.
ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THIS PROJECT WITH ME? SEE WHAT IS ABOUT TO COME, BECAUSE THIS PROJECT MIGHT BE ENDED – very well ended – WHEN I TALK ABOUT MY CLASS, BUT, IT JUST HAS SEEN THE SUNLIGHT OF OUR MARVELOUS WORLD & THERE IS MUCH MORE LOVE TO SHARE WITH THIS PROJECT! STAY WITH ME & LET’S EXPLORE THIS TOGETHER!

Me parece muy interesante que combines tu arte con terapias!
Eso lo hace un artista como tu.
Un abrazo!
