Lately many frontiers in fashion have been crossed & pushed further. We now have collaborations between brands & public figures – as the case of Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik -, brands with social responsibility, changes in how fashion industry communicate with the public & many others could be stated. The coming out of backstage photos from the darkness of a show could be one of them!
& you ask…”Is that important?!”
I SAY TOTALLY! Do you know why?
Well, first of all, each time more consumers take control of their identities & want to know better their brands. Well, the backstage is a privileged place where the makeup, hairstyles, designs & even atmosphere can be seen. In that way, transmitting purely & freely the identity of a brand! In that way, LET’S BE AMAZED BY THE BACKSTAGE OF PORTUGAL FASHION FW16?!
If during the international fashion weeks, we have seen the rising of unisex trend, here at PORTUGAL FASHION FW16, Alexandra Moura went further & amazed everyone with a man who isn’t afraid of a subtle dark detail in the inner corner of the eyes, which really popped against a nude complexion of man make-up! When, it comes to woman, Moura left the tribal make-up of her FW15 collection to give space for a femininity full of drama while sensitive through green lights around the eyes! Just left to say…SHE KNOWS HOW TO BE WILD & I LOVE IT!
Among smiles, friendships & marathons between backstage & runway, I could spot also a perfect balance between elegance & contemporary when it comes to hair! The dual-texture of hairstyles with curls flourishing as a natural surprise along the hair make every woman dream & feel free in some boring party across the city!
For the one that wants show her strength while being feminine, there were present the dark lips that merged from a fresh face & light dramatic clothes as seen in Concreto Fashion Show! Did you know that BLACK make you feel safe? Well…use it & be confident! 🙂
All of that was observed under a fantastic atmosphere, where models, stylists, designers & all staff collaborated to achieve a purpose: show to you the best that Portugal has to offer in terms of fashion & style!
As Daniela Hanganu said in my interview – “Portugal Fashion is Family” & that was stated in everyone corner of the event.
& for me, it was a pleasant work moment full of lessons, laughing, miracles & happily people sharing experiences, through where, I can show to you the spirit of brands, it’s personality & hopefully release you from the dark & make you realise the many options that you have to FEEL & SHINE your-true-self!
Then, keep your eyes here! Portugal Fashion can be finished for this season, but I have much more to talk with you & make you shine your #BeYOUty!
