Portugal Fashion SS16 | Is the audience following the FW15 trends?! Find out at my #DFBlogStyle rubric!!

In the “L’impero dell’effimero“, Lipovetsky says that “CLOTHES, HAIRSTYLE & MAKE-UP are the signs more splendid that describes the SELF AFFIRMATION” & nowadays Ricardo Tisci says “that the mark of a successful designer is having an identity”. Did Portugal Fashion shown that spoken individuality??

Through audience at the runways & “black spaces” between fashion shows, I was always looking to get deeply into the event!
& do you know what I found when it comes to style?! In 3 words:
Velvet
Neo-Victorian
70’s
If we think about these 3 words, we can see them spread into the styles proposed by many renowned names in the fashion industry!
Velvet, for example, was used to build up styles from relaxed to luxury ones, giving space for new expressions! Just see the Autumn/Winter collections from Balmain, Chloé or even Alexander Wang.

THE 70’S VIBE WAS EVERYWHERE ON THE STREETS OF PORTUGAL FASHION
It could be spotted on casual denim looks, as well as, present in leather styles orchestrated in leggings, boots or coats & even in different patterns, textures & vibrant colours! Are we getting into the American Hustle moves?!
