D’Oliveira Fashion Blog was at Porto Fashion Week, Have You Heard?!

Hello fabulous Followers! Welcome to the 1st publication of my new beloved webpage!

We are in that wonderful time, when the sun starts to show up a little more happier – it is Spring (at least in our heads ♥). With that ‘turn on’, beautiful events happen & they are called Fashion Weeks – the most magical season of the year, where we meet the world & the world meet us in the splendour of a passerelle filled of glamour, dreams & hopes!

I could be writing about New York, London, Milan, & even Paris Fashion Weeks, but there are other feelings that occupy my heart – the feeling of magic that Porto Fashion Week 15 embrace! This year, it seems to be even more special – not just because I was there ♥ – but, between other things, because of its slogan “5” inspired on the luckiness that it brought to Coco Chanel – the ultimate Nº 5 perfume, composed of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and sandalwood! Coincidence or not, this event has that cliché of the tenacious perfume that cling to the skin and was as versatile as her – Chanel – clothesThat versatility would be expressed by many initiatives, which is the case of the 5º Edition of iTechStyle Innovation Business Forum, 45º Edition of Modtissimo, Fashion District – 25 stores participated – and the 50º Birthday of ATP (Associação Textil e Vestuário de Portugal).

During my visit to the “5”th heaven, many stars crossed by & I had the opportunity to talk to lovely ones! There were stars of any kind, from organizers to photographers, it was a truly pleasure!

The 5º Edition of iTechStyle exposed many fantastic companies…

…it was the case of Foot by Foot – Revestimentos Texteis LDA, which works for the so called “boy wonder”Diogo Miranda – our marvellous Portuguese Fashion Designer! Yehhh, I can’t believe I was able to take pictures with his designs! It was one of those rare moments that happen once upon a time, like the ones that sadly (because of the calories) happen when you got your second cappuccino for free!
