Family wellness & healthy lifestyle. I know that nowadays this might sound cliché. But, during the Festive Season, achieving an equilibrium state is necessary to live the celebration fully while enjoying delicious food. Of course, lets not forget about dress BeYOUtifully.

When it comes to inspiring people that make us believe in this utopia (is it?), I must first mention my family. Family, in any way you define it, inspires me the most during the festive season. I have a big family. It is full of sisters, nephews, and nieces. They are in different stages of growth development, from the little ones to the adolescents and adults.

As we are a multigenerational family ( 🙂 ), during this time some want to play, others seek doing really nothing, part rushes in the great outdoors, while the others are cooking the delicious wanted food. For this last bit, all want to be part, at least to taste.

When it comes to cooking, children are particularly enchanted. Having all the family in the kitchen, cooking (or trying), tasting, and talking is one of my favourite parts of the celebration. The little ones come around the table, want to try all the textured baking cakes, want to help. For me & my family, those are the opportunities to merge children into little food educational games. They can use their hands to touch and taste the ingredients. Additionally, they can engage in online games about food.

To play with my godson, I found some food educational games at the website Culinary Schools.org 🙂

There, I found even games that make me nostalgic about my childhood. Getting back to the educational games we played, there were some we loved. Fruit Fit was one of them. It is even good for us adults that want to learn English (free tip xD ). Well, through this game we can view drawings of fruits with their names next to them. Then, we can test how well they absorbed the information by playing the quiz portion of the game. It was fun, even for me. So yes! It is a game for all the family to play around the table 🙂 . Other that is similar is Veggie Friends.

Also, I am leaving here the suggestion about the Fitness Food Run game. It was nostalgic for me. It resembles Super Mario. But keep in mind, this game is hard, ah! Difficult even for me.

As we are talking about selecting food, what if we could combine the glamour of fashion with the wisdom of festive, balanced choices?

In that matter, if we think about Youtubers or Content Creators, I cannot help but think about Karol Pinheiro and Maqui Nóbrega. I have followed them for so long! I cannot remember since when. Out of curiosity, I went to my Youtube channel. I found the first video I watched from them was 7 years ago. It was a vlog about the 30th anniversary of Karol Pinheiro. My god, we have been through a lot “together” 🙂 !!

Lets, get back to the subject of this blog post! So, Maqui recently started to have a range of videos called Sim, Chef. In one of her amazing videos, she is making donuts and sharing her new creation with friends. This is for sure, a great celebration. Donuts are definitely a great deal to have on the table of cakes during this festive season. The plus? Maqui Nébrega has a unique style! Love it! Please, Keep BeYOUtiful 🙂

When we think about fashion, we certainly think about Tom Ford, Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow or even Othilia Simon. Right?!

For me, these celeb are the human translation of chic and glamorous. So, I searched what they usually eat and if they have a specially recipe for the Festive Season. Have a look what I have found.

Tom Ford

While Tom Ford is primarily known for his fashion and film work, there is not much publicly available information about this involvement in festive season cooking. I discovered that in the morning, he likes a tall glass of iced espresso. He then gets into a hot bath and slowly sips his drink as he comes to life. Well, great vision, right?! He might not have a Festive Season tip. However, his sophisticated and luxurious style inspires holiday entertaining. And for sure dining aesthetics.

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham has shared some festive moments. But, she reportedly stated that prefers staying out of the kitchen to avoid stress. David Beckham, her husband, does most of the holiday cooking. However, we can still find inspiration from her elegant style and family holiday meals. Just like his father, Brooklyn, shared a passion for food. Between 2021-2022, he hosted a Facebook series called Cookin’ with Brooklyn. Bellow you can find some of the recipes he share on his page CLOUD 23.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow does cook for the festive season! YeY! She enjoys preparing simple yet elegant dishes for holidays. She has shared recipes for easy holiday appetizers. These include potato chips with caviar, prunes stuffed with cheese and wrapped in prosciutto, and a sauce called Bagna Cauda. She also has a holiday menu that she reuses each year, adding new items like mulled wine. The video I am sharing is gluten-, nut-, dairy-, and soy-free. I had to include some different options for festive season meals. This is for people with food allergies or intolerance.

Othilia Simon

Othilia Simon is a French fashion model born in Lyon, Rhone-Alpes, France. She has worked with numerous high-profile fashion brands. She has appeared on the covers of several prestigious magazines, including Vogue and Elle. Although she is known primarily for her modeling career, she has shown an interest in cooking. She is especially interested during the festive season. You can see below that she learned from the renowned pastry chef Yann Couvreur how to create a delicious Christmas Yule log.

Also, talking about the Festive Season or Christmas is talking about Mariah Carey!

Last but not least, if we talk about the Festive Season or Christmas, one name resonates with most of us. It is Mariah Carey and her song All I Want For Christmas Is You. While searches about her & festive season, I found that Mariah Carey does enjoys cooking during the festive season! She has a special tradition of making linguini with white clam sauce, which is her father’s favorite recipe. She often cooks this dish with her daughter, Monroe. This tradition helps her connect with her family and celebrate the holidays in a meaningful way.

Who is more qualified for this holidays than the ‘Queen of Christmas’ herself? Mariah Carey shows us how to bake some spirited holiday cookies.

Enjoy & Happy Festive Season!
