#DFBlog tries Concept Fashion Design | Day 1

A #fashionevent behind the conventional from the concept to the atmosphere!

It is called #Concept, but it could be claimed #Art, #Trendy or even #Visionary Fashion Design! The event was filled with fashion shows & expositions, while an enjoyable atmosphere was played by interesting people! Let’s find all out?!

If the last time that I walked on fashion shows – well it was at ModaLisboa | Lisbon Fashion Week – the thematic was the Alice in Wonderland, where many ambitions were stated, after today’s event – Concept Fashion Design -, I would say that Lisbon is creating its own  land of fashion & achieving those ambitions!

Today, Lisbon, gave space to the event were Fashion & Art are very well intercrossed, resulting in the so called Conceptual Fashion, bringing the visions, inspirations & creativity of designers to a space where the clothes could be visualised on the fashion show – as in a conventional fashion – & on expositors (as art, as a concept!). But, it is a simplistic way to approach this subject!!!

At the entrance there was models wearing the designs & also expositions of the designer ❤

Also, I had the pleasure to talk with the creative Alfaiate Paulo Battista & his wife Susana 🙂

On the show rooms many surprises were hidden, but at the same time, some feathers were spreading a charm over the event! It was the case of the fantastic designs of Filipe Blanquet 🙂

I could not leave the event without a photo with this great model – or it would comparable to bacon without eggs, right British followers?!  – that matched perfectly the tribal collection of Filipe  Blanquet! ♥

Regarding the fashion shows, there was a bright talented designer that could be selling in New York – possible for the next Sex & The City Movie?!? – but, he is “just” showing us his fantastic & “out of the box” – still commercial – designs. His name is Isidro Paiva! 🙂 It was a pleasure to talk with such a creative person, that showed a strong WILL while being passionate about his work!

You will go far man & we will be in touch! So, my fabulous followers, do not miss what is about to come!

On the next show, I was on the backstage & I must say, there was great positive energy on the air…we could smell & see since the reason was the African & Urban Inspired marvellous designs from Samissone! The models were stunning!!! In my opinion one of the best-styled shows – from the relaxed doll hair to the shoes – of the day!!!

The last show, but not the least was from Jóias Espirituais, where the paradox between exuberance & simplicity was achieved 🙂

Then, the event continued with the music on played alive by Ana Cláudia & Andycode!

If I was pointed to choose some words to describe Concept Fashion Design event, it would be “beyond time & space” not just because the fashion show of Isidro Paiva started with that words, but because it was a very well “wasted” time & as I used to say:

More important than freeze time is what we do with it!
