Lisboa Fashion Week is coming again! Next March, during inspiring 4 days – 7 to 10 – it will present another collection – the fall/winter 2019 – from the most creative pool of Portuguese Designers. It was announced a few days ago that the new theme is INSIGHT – a reflexive multidisciplinary approach, which asks for a collective introspection for a collective action! Have YOU Heard?
Well, for me – & us at d’Oliveira fashion blog – it is a very outstanding & fruitful point of view, not just because, here, we explore the bridge between Fashion & Medicine – see here my Judge ME project – but also, because #LisboaFashionWeek always brings meaningful fashion moments full of social causes, making fashion a world of many facets – as it really is! Then, I AM REALLY CURIOUS TO SEE WHAT IS ABOUT TO COME, aren’t you too?

A #LisboaFashionWeek traz sempre momentos de moda significativos, cheios de causas sociais, fazendo da moda um mundo de muitas facetas. É neste mood de curiosidade e INTROSPEÇÃO que ficamos após a divulgação do tema! Começa bem…afinal ainda não sabemos o que é e o objectivo to tema já está a ser cumprido!

Hello my dear Kerry ❤ I am very curious also to see how this edition of Lisboa Fashion Week will turn out to be! On their press release, they said that it about an introspection about the fashion business, the way fashion is done, the dreams, the challenges & the new views in fashion. ❤

That is really interesting. The insight I felt was that fashion should be ethical, moral, sustainable and accessible to everyone no matter their creed, color or gender.
