I After Me is a style article from my Fashionable Personae series that explores my dress practices & reflexive identity politics during Lisboa Fashion Week SS19 /13 Oct 18/. Ready for a selfhood revolve?

It is well established – & even a sign of mental health – that humans are a biopsychosocial-functional being & as such, I find myself – & by consequence my fashionable personae – to evolve or revolve when it comes to dressing practices while orchestrating it with determinants of health, including the environmental questions.

The result in terms of style?

A Manifesto for Sustainability with Eduardo Amorim Atelier!

Yes, Sustainability! A key environmental factor – between other things – which can directly relate to our health status, whatever through chemicals, compulsive buying which results in clothing waste & even air and water pollution, if we talk about industrial processes. So, what is it saying about the value fashion? Ultimately, what is it saying about the designer? Or getting even further, what says it about the value of our actions or desires?
Thinking about all of these questions – not just then, but now – I am evolving & sharing it with you.

Now, you must be thinking what has to do with my style & Lisbon Fashion Week SS19. Right?

Well, wearing this shorts from Eduardo Amorim Atelier can assume an important action to change the Anthropocene. For example, the shorts are from his FW15/16 season – so, I was able to style it in a contemporary trendy way that makes it seems like brand new season shorts – also, it means that I reused it while not buy more, plus it is handmade, and so, good sustainable principles for fashion design & personal conscience. This was also possible because I am completely in love with the shorts…COMPLETELY! Love for the textile, for the colour, for all of the details. So, here it is another tip, BUY WHAT YOU REALLY LOVE, don’t be easygoing when it comes to LOVE.

Besides all of that, Lisboa Fashion Week SS19 was a hub for a variety of fashion perspectiveswhich I was proud to be part of – & I had the opportunity to meet great minds behind brands – as it is the case of Fluo Bags, which has an incredible concept that explores the effect of the colour of their designs in people lives – & reencounter older friendly ones with new perspectives of sustainability as it is the case of Isidro Paiva.

If we don’t act now, will be there ‘a next’ YOU?
